Postdoctoral Recruitment

1. Brief Introduction

The Information Photonics Technology Team of the School of Optoelectronics at Beijing Institute of Technology was founded by Professor Dong Yi (National Distinguished Young Scholar) in 2017. The team is primarily engaged in cutting-edge and applied research in the fields of microwave photonics, optical fiber sensing and measurement technology, optical fiber communication technology, etc. They undertake national key research and development projects, major projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, projects for distinguished young scholars, instrument projects, general projects, and youth projects, enjoying excellent research conditions, sufficient research funding, and first-class platform facilities. The team is actively recruiting 1-2 postdoctoral researchers on a long-term basis.

2. Basic Requirements

  1. 1. Obtained (or about to obtain) a doctoral degree, backgrounds in optical engineering, information and communication systems, optical fiber sensing technology, microwave photonics, fiber optic communication technology, and related fields.
  2. 2. Excellent moral and academic performance, good physical condition and age below 35.
  3. 3. Good development potential and strong team awareness, and have published a certain number of relevant articles in related high-level academic journals.

3. Wellfare Conditions

  1. 1. "BoXin" Postdoctoral Program: Annual salary of 400,000 RMB; Team Postdoctoral: Basic annual salary of 200,000-300,000 RMB; Research Postdoctoral: Annual salary of 180,000-250,000 RMB; Doctoral graduates from overseas universities ranked in the top 100 in the world and foreign doctoral candidates will receive an additional training allowance of 60,000 RMB per year.
  2. 2. Providing attractive research project grants while enjoying generous research awards in the laboratory; other policies please advise "the Management Regulations for Postdoctoral Researchers at Beijing Institude of Technology".
  3. 3. Those with outstanding achievements will be prioritized for recommendation to stay and teach through assessment.
  4. 4. Providing opportunities for overseas visits and exchanges and for carrying out work in relevant foreign laboratories as required by the project.
